DV MRT PROGRAM- Domestic Violence- Moral Reconation Therapy (DV MRT) BRINGING PEACE TO RELATIONSHIP (Domestic Violence Workbook) DV MRT Program requires participants to access their thinking and confront their issues, power, and control. It also examines the laws and raises awareness of the perpetrators in order to make it obvious that their behavior is destructive and inappropriate. Environments and triggers associated with risky situations are identified and utilized to assist clients in learning new coping skills. In addition, relationships, personal identity, family practices, and personal values are also examined. Used exclusively with batterers and perpetrators of domestic violence. The Domestic Violence workbook, Bringing Peace to Relationships, is divided into 24 modules, with each module completed in a weekly group session. Clients complete homework for each module prior to coming to a session. In the group, each client presents his or her homework, and the facilitator passes the client to the next module.
